Overnight oats are my absolute favorite thing on the planet.

They are the reason I am able to stay fueled most mornings and keep chasing my 2 year old all over the house. They take the think work and the effort out of “What’s for breakfast in the morning?”

And the bonus about these overnight oats with Greek yogurt? This is the first oatmeal recipe I have gotten the little guy to eat since he was about one year old. WINNING!

When it comes to overnight oats, no flavor is off limits. If you want it, I have probably got it. Whether it’s Protein Packed Overnight Oatmeal, Banana Bread Overnight Oats, Cinnamon Roll Overnight Oats or Strawberry S’mores Overnight Oats–there is a flavor for everyone around here!

Why You Will Love These Peanut Butter Greek Yogurt Overnight Oats:

  1. They are SO simple to make. Most overnight oatmeal recipes are a matter of putting everything together and stirring. Can’t get much easier than that.
  2. Very easily customized. Whether you have a picky eater or a food allergy in the house, there are tons of options to make these peanut butter Greek yogurt overnight oats just right for everyone. Dairy free Greek style yogurts are out there to help make this recipe dairy free, you can use a seed or another nut butter for an allergy, and easily use gluten free oats if you are unable to eat gluten.
  3. You can make enough to last the week. Meal preppers have gotta love this! You can make a bunch of jars of these overnight oats at once and have them ready for you in the morning for days on end!

I don’t often use Greek yogurt in my overnight oatmeal, but recently I started adding it and it gives the oats a thick creamy texture like no other. Plus, a little protein boost which is nice as well!

Greek Yogurt Overnight Oats Ingredients:

Only a handful of ingredients are necessary. From there, you can toss in some fresh fruit or other optional add ins to change things up if you would like.

  • rolled oats: you can use gluten free or regular oats.
  • milk: I have made overnight oats with just about every milk under the sun. Whole, almond, soy, coconut, you name it. Pick your favorite and go for it!
  • Greek yogurt: I have gone back and forth between plain and vanilla flavors. Sometimes it is a matter of what I have on hand. When I sue vanilla, I often lighten up on maple syrup since the vanilla is already sweetened usually.
  • peanut butter: for a peanut allergy, sub your favorite nut or seed butter. Any will work!
  • vanilla
  • maple syrup: my go to breakfast sweetener but you can opt for honey, brown sugar or another that you may like better.

Recipe Notes:

  • These overnight oats with Greek yogurt can be eaten straight from the fridge or you can warm them up a bit before eating them. I usually warm mine up.
  • Adding a splash of milk before serving may be necessary. Sometimes the oats absorb a lot of the milk overnight and may be too thick to your liking. Just add an extra splash of milk and you should be good to go.

Add-ins and Variations:

Feel free to add some extra ingredients to vary your oatmeal. If you are like me, you tend to get into ruts of the same thing day in and day out.

  • Add a teaspoon of chia seeds for some extra fiber and protein.
  • Use chocolate milk for a Reese Cup flavored breakfast!
  • Top with sliced bananas.
  • Add a spoonful of chocolate chips.
  • Fresh berries are always great on top!
  • If you have a peanut allergy, swap the peanut butter for another nut butter or seed butter.

Delicious! It turned out a bit too liquidy though, so I think next time I’ll add some chia. Other than that, I loved this recipe. I subbed peanut butter for sunflower butter & added chopped banana on top!

Hi dear can we mix curd and milk?

    1. Lorie says:

Hi! I am not familiar with curd, but if it is similar to yogurt then you should have no problem!
