Apple Pie Baked Egg Rolls

  • 4-5 medium apples I used Fuji, but also love Gala
  • 3-4 T pure maple syrup
  • 2-3 T coconut oil melted
  • 2 tsp arrowroot powder you could use corn starch as well
  • 1 T cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 10-12 egg roll wrappers


  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Dice apples. I leave skin on but you can also remove if desired.
  • Heat 1 T coconut oil over medium high heat in a skillet.
  • Add apples and maple syrup.
  • Stir to coat apples evenly.
  • Add salt, arrowroot and cinnamon and heat until apples are softened and mixture is gooey and thickened.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and coat with coconut oil.
  • Fill each egg roll wrapper with about 1/4 c apple mixture and fold according to instructions.
  • Line baking pan and then brush remaining coconut oil to coat each egg roll.
  • Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until browned to desired darkness.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5-10 minutes.
  • Serve warm garnished with vanilla ice cream if desired.Sprinkle with extra cinnamon before serving.
