Edible Sugar Cookie Dough

Edible Sugar Cookie Dough is a simple and DELICIOUS way to enjoy everyone's favorite. You can even lick the bowl clean!

  • ½ c butter, softened, room temperature
  • ½ c sugar
  • 1 c all purpose flour
  • 1 T milk
  • 2-3 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2-3 T rainbow sprinkles


  • Using a standing or hand mixer, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. This should take about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add in salt, vanilla and milk and mix together.
  • Slowly add in flour and mix until smooth.
  • Stir in sprinkles.
  • Roll into bite sized balls or eat straight from the bowl! If the dough is not rolling easily, chill for about 15-20 minutes and then roll.
  • Keep refrigerated for up to 5 days.


  • For your safety, it is recommended that you microwave your flour in a microwave safe dish for about 1 minute to a temperature of 165°F to kill off any bacteria. You can do this in the oven as well.
