No Bake Apple Pie Energy Bars

Ingredients

cup
raw almonds
1
cup
raw walnuts or raw pecans
½
medium apple
cut into bite sized chunks (I used Gala)
½-1
T
cinnamon
depending on your taste
⅓
cup
raisins

tsp.
vanilla extract
8
medjool dates
pitted
Dash of sea salt
Instructions
Combine nuts in food processor and process until fine and grainy.
Add all other ingredients and process until a dough forms.
Press firmly into a parchment lined pan. It really doesn't matter what size pan, I just press into a corner and make sure they are about ¾ inch thick.
Chill for about 30 minutes.
Cut and serve.
Store in the fridge for about a week.
Notes
Option: use half of a baked apple with cinnamon instead of a fresh apple.
