Cinnamon Pecan Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • ½ cup rolled or steel cut oats regular or gluten free, NOT quick oats
  • ½-3/4 teaspoon cinnamon depending on how strong of a cinnamon flavor you desire
  • 1 teaspoon ground flax
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 teaspoon maple or honey
  • 1 T crushed pecans
  • ½ cup milk of choice
  • Dash of sea salt
  • optional add in: 1 teaspoon chia seeds

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in small jar or bowl that can be sealed. Stir well.
  • Refrigerate overnight. Serve heated or cold.

Notes

I like to eat my warm and usually will add a splash more of milk before I heat them up or I feel the oats dry up a bit.
