Black Bean Peanut Butter Brownie Batter Dip

  • 1 15 oz can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 c peanut butter
  • 3 T cacao or cocoa powder
  • 2-4 T maple syrup (to desired sweetness)
  • 1-2 T milk of choice
  • 1/4 c chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • dash of sea salt


  • Combine black beans, maple, and vanilla in a food processor. Process until beans are smooth.
  • Add in cacao, chocolate chips, milk, peanut butter and sea salt. Process until smooth (the chocolate chips will still be a bit choppy.)
  • Eat right away or chill for 20-30 minutes before eating to allow flavors to meld more. Store in an airtight container in refrigerator.
