Ingredients

  • 1¼ - 1½ c vanilla almond milk or milk of choice
  • c frozen strawberries
  • frozen banana
  • 2 T protein powder
  • 3 T peanut butter
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • Optional maple or sweetener

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a high powered blender. Start with 1¼ cup of milk and add more as needed.
  • Blend on high until smooth and creamy. Add sweetener and blend it in as desired. Enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • I find that using a tamper helps when making a smoothie and aiming for something extra thick. No one wants a a soupy smoothie, right?
  • Make sure the protein powder that you use is one that you enjoy. If the powder tastes like dirt, no smoothie is going to cover it up. Check out this list of the best tasting powders. We have used unflavored collagen peptides as well and that has been a great option as well.
  • Feel free to add some other ingredients to this Strawberry Peanut Butter Smoothie. Chia seeds, flax, cinnamon, hemp seeds and so much more.
